Hi all, Basically at my old school, we had a "2 week" enrollment period once school began. If you didn't get the classes you needed prior to the semester starting, this was the best time to enroll. I have already finished a year of college. I spent my first semester at my state university, UNLV - a fifteen minute drive from my house. With my Pell Grant going to school costs me around $3,000 a year and I'm eligible for scholarships now so that number could be even lower once I apply for them. ... Read More »

Like how Chicago has The Loop, Little Italy, Hyde Park, Boystown, etc. - each one with it's own unique cultural flair. Does Las Vegas have that too? or is it just The Strip where everything exciting goes on? Also if I go to UNLV, will I be able to find a nice 24 hour coffee shop or diner nearby?... Read More »

I am trying to decide between Boise State University and UNLV (University of Nevada - Las Vegas). I am an Idaho resident and a pre-med student. I am currently attending UNLV and will qualify for in-state tuition in January 2011. I like UNLV, but it would be cheaper and more comfortable to come home ... Read More »

I can get my Associate of Business Degree (AB) at College of Southern Nevada (CSN) but when I checked majors at UNLV to finish for a final 2 years, it said Business was only a minor. Does that mean I can still finish out schooling there or not?... Read More »
